We get in touch within one working day of your sign-up. The intake is usually scheduled within one to two weeks, at one of our locations, at your home or online.
Do I need a referral from my GP to see a dietitian?
No. Every Dutch health insurer covers dietary advice without a referral letter (verwijsbrief). Only for integrated care (ketenzorg) for diabetes, cardiovascular risk management or COPD does your GP (huisarts) arrange a referral.
What is ketenzorg (integrated care)?
For people with cardiovascular risk (CVRM), diabetes or COPD there is a scheme in which dietary advice is fully covered by the basic health insurance package, without touching your deductible. NutriHealth has contracts for this with ROHA (Amsterdam), ReHA Almere, Zorg voor Zuid and Huisarts en Zorg. Ask your GP for a referral within integrated care.
